Low Level Laser Therapy, commonly known as LLLT or photonic therapy, is a form of phototherapy which involves the application of low power monochromatic and coherent light to injuries and lesions to stimulate healing.

LLLT is used to increase the speed, quality and tensile strength of tissue repair, resolve inflammation, and give pain relief. It is an attractive form of treatment for equine athletes, due to the prospect of shorter recovery and lay-off times.

 

The Laser can also be uses to stimulate specific points in the body, including trigger points and master myofascial points, to help release large muscle groups.  It is an ideal treatment pre or post performance,
