UPDATE: Timmy has found an amazing home with a lovely couple. He will be the male partner's best buddy and can look forward to trail and beach rides. They have a very experienced trainer to help transition him to his new life. Yay, doing a happy dance,
Timmy is an 8-year-old bay, thoroughbred gelding. He is approximately 16.1/16.2hh. His last race was in August 2021, and up until 18 months ago, he taught people how to lead, put a bridle on and even ride trackwork. He was recently moved from his trainer, where he was living, to the next-door stable to rehome him. One of the people who rode his trackwork said "he was very sweet and not strong". He has had 17 starts.
Timmy is sound but recovering from a wound on his head which is healing nicely. Timmy would be a lovely horse to have around and a nice all-rounder. Timmy will need some help to "unracehorse" so you will need to have experience in this area or have a trainer who is experienced, able to assist.
Ideally, you will be someone I know or can be vouched for by someone I know.
